The Livermore Valley Wine Country Championship  at Wente Vineyards has recently been announced as the fifth stop on the 2006 Nationwide Tour. As one of the early tournaments in the season, and with one of the largest purses ever for a first time event, this wine country event will have a strong draw for notable Nationwide Tournament players. As an event presented by the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Foundation, Tournament proceeds will be contributed to children's charities in our community.
